Combining Sustainable Farming Methods and Technology to Make a Better Product
Although the process for the development of CBD products is similar throughout the industry, our focus on time-honored organic farming techniques, cutting-edge extraction capabilities, and rigorous batch-level testing set us apart from the rest.
Here's a summary of the manufacturing process:
The Best Product Starts with the Best Strains
The quality of the end product is only as good as the seeds you begin with. Guardian Natural products utilize only carefully selected hemp strains that are cultivated in the Netherlands or the United States and bring a wide profile of cannabinoids and terpenes.
Quality is never an accident. It is always the result of intelligent effort.

Organic & Sustainable Farming Practices
The curated strains of hemp are then cultivated outdoors in a mild climate in locations that provide the optimal environment, reducing any quality concerns based on soil quality.
Our hemp is grown using only non-GMO natural farming practices where pesticides and herbicides are never used.
From there, mature plants ready for harvest are lifted from the ground where the aerial parts of the plant are taken to a facility to undergo our Ethanol Extraction Process.
Ethanol Extraction Process
The extraction of CBD utilizing the ethanol extraction method leads to some major benefits:
• Increased Bioavailability - Ethanol extracted CBD products deliver higher bodily absorption rates, increased potency and purity. In short, it's easier for the body to process leading to more benefit and less waste.
• Quality - Ethanol is one of the best and safest methods for drawing out the subtle flavors, aromas, and synergistic compounds that are found in the cannabis plant. Ethanol-based extract will have a greater nutrient-density and Ethanol is also the only solvent that maintains the original chemical ratios contained in the plant.
• Natural - Oil extracted with ethanol can be certified organic and can be considered Vegan as Ethanol is made from Plant Material (grain).
• Safety and Sustainability - Ethanol is considered one of the safest solvents to use in consumer goods. It is less of a drain on economic resources and safer when compared to combustible CO2 extraction.
